I thought I should let you all know, I have recently had a great bout of inspiration.

I have been to a writers conference, and have spoken to an author/editor. And she has told me, as soon as I finish my currently in progress novel, to get an agent. And as soon as I hook an agent, to send my novel off to publishers.

Therefore, I am so very excited. Never before have I been so exuberant about my work. This could change my life.

Below, where it says I am reading, the author is the man who has taught me a great deal. His work and life is what I want. He, for a day, led me through to believe I could do anything. Because of him, I can. I owe him so much. All I can say is, this man, a true kid at heart, he deserves the best. I don't usually do this, but here is a link to his website. His book "Jerk, California", is one of the most pure books I have read. And that says quite a lot.

I'm not.

I don't "feel" Christmassy this year. My little brother has swine flu, and I believe my mom does as well. My older brother just got over a virus. Now, me and my dad are struggling to keep from being sick.
